Donald Trump, who once called Epstein a “fun” guy who “likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” deflected questions about the memo this week.
The U.S. Justice Department this week revealed Jeffrey Epstein had “over one thousand” victims, vastly exceeding the “dozens” cited in earlier federal charges.
A newly released memo summarising a Trump-era review of FBI evidence disclosed the scale of abuse while concluding there was “no credible evidence” Epstein blackmailed prominent figures.
“Consistent with prior disclosures, this review confirmed that Epstein harmed over one thousand victims,” the memo states, though such a number was never previously acknowledged.
The review examined more than 300 gigabytes of data, including “over ten thousand downloaded videos and images of illegal child sex abuse material,” but claimed there was no client list to release.
Donald Trump, who once called Epstein a “fun” guy who “likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side,” deflected questions about the memo this week.
“Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?… That is unbelievable. Do you want to waste the time?” Trump said, calling the question a “desecration” amid the Texas flood tragedy.
Critics argue the memo confirms an “industrial scale” abuse operation ignored by elites while shielding the identities of hundreds of potential clients.
