Atiku’s media aide, Paul Ibe, has questioned President Tinubu’s whereabouts following the BRICS summit, citing a lack of official updates

Paul Ibe, media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has raised concerns over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s whereabouts following the conclusion of the BRICS summit in Brazil.

In a post on his verified 𝕏 handle on Saturday, Ibe wrote: “Many concerned Nigerians are asking where President Bola Tinubu is since the conclusion of the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.”

He noted that Tinubu began a two-nation visit to Saint Lucia and Brazil on June 28. “There is no other engagement on his itinerary, according to the press statement preceding his trip, raising concerns about his whereabouts. However, mum is the word,” Ibe stated.

He further added, “Is it possible that the Nigerian President’s aircraft is passing through a zone where time is standing still?”

Despite growing curiosity, the Presidency has yet to issue a formal update. Since the summit ended, Tinubu has not been seen publicly, prompting reactions across social media.
