She would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story
Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has said she is willing to testify before Congress and “tell her story” about Epstein’s activities and network. Currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking, Maxwell has reportedly told close contacts:
“She would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story.”
Her offer comes as the Justice Department formally closed its review of Epstein’s death, ruling out foul play and confirming he died by suicide in 2019. Investigators also said there is no evidence of a so-called “Epstein client list,” despite years of speculation linking powerful figures to the disgraced financier. Critics have raised questions over missing surveillance footage from Epstein’s prison cell, with some insisting the matter deserves further investigation.
