Barcelona’s first-team players have returned to training this week… and Hansi Flick has already taken care of the most urgent task on his to-do list: having a face-to-face chat with Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
After the signing of Espanyol’s goalkeeper Joan Garcia, Flick told the German last Friday that he plans to start the season with Garcia as his number one choice in goal.
Barcelona sources say they won’t actively look for a club to move Ter Stegen to.
It is on the 33-year-old to decide what to do next.
