He described the pair “hunting women together,” falling out over real estate, and then threatening to expose one another’s secrets.
Former President Donald Trump is under growing fire from his own MAGA base after Attorney General Pam Bondi backtracked on promises to release the “Epstein files,” sparking accusations of a coverup that has fractured right-wing media allies.
Trump’s supporters, once reliably loyal, have turned sharply critical. Far-right commentator Mike Cernovich posted on X: “No one is believing the Epstein coverup, @realDonaldTrump. This will be part of your legacy. There’s still time to change it!” On Steve Bannon’s livestream, he derided fellow Trump loyalist Jack Posobiec as a “sap” for believing Trump would ever release the files.
Their anger stems from Bondi’s abrupt refusal to publish records she had previously pledged to share, despite pressure from conspiracy-friendly Trump allies like Kash Patel and Dan Bongino.
Michael Wolff, Trump’s biographer, has poured gasoline on the fire, recounting Trump’s deep personal ties with Epstein. “Epstein and Trump had been the best of friends for almost 15 years. … They were instrumental in each other’s rise,” Wolff said on The Court of History podcast.
He described the pair “hunting women together,” falling out over real estate, and then threatening to expose one another’s secrets. Wolff claims Epstein showed him compromising photographs of Trump with topless underage girls at Epstein’s Palm Beach estate.
“There are two in which the girls, topless girls, are sitting on Trump’s lap. And then a third in which he has a stain on the front of his pants, and the girls are kind of pointing at it,” Wolff said.
As MAGA loyalists revolt and Trump’s team stonewalls, pressure is mounting in Washington for a full congressional investigation into the alleged crimes and coverup.
