Rotimi Amaechi has warned Nigerians that a second term for President Tinubu in 2027 would lead to mass suffering, urging citizens to resist election result manipulation in Rivers.

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has issued a stern warning to Nigerians against re-electing President Bola Tinubu in 2027, claiming it would lead to nationwide suffering.

Speaking to members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition in Rivers State, Amaechi said: “Currently, Nigerians are complaining in President Tinubu’s first tenure; imagine what the second tenure will be like. Then, you’ll be dead and buried.”

He expressed concern over the electoral process in Rivers State, alleging that it is notorious for rewriting results.

“Our state is notorious for writing results, and we must stop them from writing results. When they said that they have already written results, it discourages voters from coming out,” he said.

Amaechi urged ADC members to mobilize early for 2027 by registering voters and forming local monitoring committees.

“We should encourage people to come out and vote for the removal of the current government or we will all die of hunger,” he added.
