Both prophecies come amid renewed discussions around Obi’s role in a possible opposition coalition ahead of 2027.
Prophet Abel Boma has predicted that Labour Party’s Peter Obi may not win the 2027 presidential election, citing spiritual concerns.
In a video posted on July 19 via his YouTube channel, Boma warned that if Obi becomes president, “he is going to create a diplomacy against the church… and will focus mostly on education, not the economy.”
The prophet added: “There are some things he will do in the northern community which will trigger anger.”
Meanwhile, another cleric, Prophet Joshua Iginla, cautioned Obi against accepting a vice-presidential slot in any political alliance.
“If they give you number one, then you are prepared. If they give you a second-class citizen, don’t lose your political assets,” Iginla said during a church service.
