A new ice cream flavour is making waves across the country, as parenting brand Frida partners with artisanal ice cream maker OddFellows to launch a breast milk-inspired dessert.
The flavour, available online for a limited time, aims to mimic the taste of human breast milk without actually using it. Instead, the recipe features traditional ice cream ingredients, blended to evoke the sweet and creamy profile associated with breast milk.
Frida describes the flavour as “sweet, a little salty, smooth, with hints of honey and features a distinct yellow tinge.” The collaboration is part of a marketing push celebrating Frida’s range of parenting products.
While unusual, breast milk-inspired treats have previously sparked public curiosity, with some celebrities openly admitting to trying breast milk for its perceived health benefits.
OddFellows says the limited-edition offering will be sold nationwide until stocks run out.
