“The second, third, fourth and other times you went back to watch that video were because of your hunger to see her nude… just the same way you act towards porns,” he wrote.
Catholic priest Emmanuel Ehioma has advised those who repeatedly watched the now-viral footage of Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson’s ordeal to go for confession.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ehioma said viewers were not guilty of sin if they saw the video the first time without knowing its contents. “But if you went back to watch it again, you have to go for confession,” he warned, likening it to consuming pornography.
“The second, third, fourth and other times you went back to watch that video were because of your hunger to see her nude… just the same way you act towards porns,” he wrote.
The video, which showed Emmanson being dragged off a flight with her clothes torn and breasts exposed, has drawn criticism from the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
The NBA condemned the recording and circulation of the “unedited” footage and offered Emmanson pro bono legal support to seek redress.
