I Am Against the ADC Coalition Because They Came in Like They Own the Party -Abejide
Every party needs members, but you acknowledge those who were there before you instead of taking over the structures of the party.

Hon. Leke Abejide, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) representative for Yagba East/West and Mopa Federal Constituency, has openly opposed the party’s coalition arrangement, accusing the new bloc of trying to dominate the party’s existing structures.
Speaking on the development, Abejide stressed that while every political party welcomes fresh members, due regard must be given to those who have long been part of the organisation. He alleged that the coalition members came into the ADC “like they own the party,” disregarding the efforts and positions of long-standing members.
He maintained that integration should be based on mutual respect and recognition of those who laid the foundation for the party’s growth, not on displacing them. Abejide’s remarks underscore growing internal tensions over control and influence within the ADC.
