North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is reportedly preparing to send 100,000 troops to Ukraine to fight alongside Russian forces, according to South Korean intelligence. Sources claim thousands of soldiers are “queueing” for deployment after previously serving in the Kursk region, where they allegedly completed a “successful mission.”

Russian military expert Andrei Klintsevich said, “We like these numbers, they can greatly speed up many processes.” Another analyst, Timur Syrtlanov, noted the troops could also protect Russian territories such as Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk.

In a rare public speech, Kim mourned North Korean soldiers killed in action, saying, “My heart aches and is bitter as I face the reality that I only get to meet the noble figures who gave up their precious lives through photos.”

Kim also met bereaved families and praised his soldiers as a “heroic army” during a state ceremony in Pyongyang, signaling continued military cooperation with Russia.
