Cleric Apostle Oluwarotimi Adeyeye has predicted Goodluck Jonathan could win Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election if he contests, while warning President Tinubu against seeking a second term.

An Ibadan-based cleric, Apostle Oluwarotimi Adeyeye, has prophesied that former President Goodluck Jonathan could return as Nigeria’s leader in 2027 if he decides to contest.

Adeyeye, who is President and founder of the Clear Revelation Ministry, made the declaration on Wednesday during a press conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) press centre in Ibadan.

The cleric, known for predicting the impeachment and reinstatement of former Oyo governor Rasidi Ladoja, said: “God can still bring him back to office once more if Nigeria still stands as a nation.”

He praised Jonathan for rejecting the U.S. proposal on same-sex marriage and for conceding power in 2015 “to let peace reign in Nigeria,” noting the country could have descended into violence otherwise.

On President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid, Adeyeye warned, “I don’t see him winning that contest but with God nothing is irreversible.”

He urged Nigerian leaders to repent for the nation’s progress.
