Trump’s all-caps denial of health issues has fueled online speculation, with critics pointing to his absence from public events and visible health concerns.
Speculation over President Donald Trump’s health escalated over the weekend after his absence from public view and a doctor’s warning that his leg may require amputation. The rumors gained traction online, with users pointing to images of his swollen legs and bruised hands.
In response, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE,” while also claiming, “DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE.” The all-caps message, characteristic of the President’s style, only added to online speculation.
One widely shared post by @angry_staffer read: “I wasn’t super convinced that something was seriously wrong with Trump until he tweeted this,” drawing 1.4 million views. Journalist Adam Cochran further alleged that Trump may be experiencing “TIA strokes,” citing his use of aspirin, leg swelling, and “continued face droop.”
Vice President JD Vance sought to downplay the concerns, though his remarks about “taking over the Presidency” raised eyebrows. Trump, 79, has not been seen publicly since Wednesday.
