The nearly completed Cherubim and Seraphim University in Kwara, led by the church’s SG steering committee chair Reverend Esther Ajayi, is slated to begin academic activities in 2026 as a moral-value-oriented institution aimed at nurturing future leaders.
The Cherubim and Seraphim University in Kwara State is expected to launch academic operations by 2026, Rev. Esther Ajayi, Chairperson of the Cherubim and Seraphim Centenary Anniversary Steering Committee, told the News Agency of Nigeria.
According to Rev. Ajayi, who is also the founder of Love of Christ Church, Lagos, the institution is currently “80 percent complete,” following the church’s centenary anniversary lecture held in Lagos.
She emphasized that the university represents a milestone achievement for the Church, reflecting its focus on human development. The institution, she said, will help mould future leaders and serve as “a buffer to amoral behaviours” amid declining moral standards.
“With the church setting up institutions and structures to advance its bridge building in the world,” Rev. Ajayi stated, “We need to train bold minds that will preach and evangelise all over the world to correct growing anomalies that pose threats to humanity.”
