PDP has asked Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to get ready to resume her Senate duties, accusing the APC leadership of trying to deny Kogi Central representation.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to prepare to resume her Senate duties after her suspension.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the PDP condemned what it described as a move by the Clerk of the National Assembly to prevent her return, linking it to the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership.

“The PDP calls on the international community, democracy institutions, right advocacy groups and other democracy development partners to rise up in condemnation of this renewed attack on Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan,” the statement read.

The party insisted that the Senate must allow Akpoti-Uduaghan resume without hindrance to avoid denying Kogi Central representation at the National Assembly.
