A Maiduguri cleaner, Faiza Abdulkadir, has been praised for returning ₦4.8m mistakenly credited to her account.
A woman identified as Faiza Abdulkadir, a cleaner in Maiduguri, Borno State, has returned ₦4.8 million mistakenly paid into her account.
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) commended her action in a statement on Wednesday, describing it as a rare act of integrity.
“In a world where poverty often pressures people into compromise, her courage reminds us that true wealth is not measured in money, but in character,” the agency posted on its official X account.
NOA added that Faiza’s honesty is a powerful reminder that such values “still shine bright in Nigeria, and that light will never go unnoticed.”
