Piers Morgan just aired a sick 50-second montage exposing TikTok users celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death. Don’t forget who cheered a man’s death for politics. Make these people famous.
“The people who mocked his death or justified it, I think you’re gross,” the host declared.
Bill Maher opened his HBO show Real Time on Friday by denouncing what he described as a “very ugly week in America” following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
“It’s a very ugly week in America with violence of all kinds: political violence, regular violence, a lot of people talking about a civil war,” Maher told his audience. He also mocked partisan clashes in Congress after a moment of silence for Kirk.
Later, Maher criticised those celebrating or excusing Kirk’s death. “The people who mocked his death or justified it, I think you’re gross. I have no use for you. The people who are saying now we’re at war, I’ve no use for you,” he said.
Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot while addressing students at Utah Valley University. His death has drawn bipartisan condemnation, though Maher noted that some online voices invoked Kirk’s own dismissal of empathy in response.
