The Lagos APC described Rauf Aregbesola’s claim that ADC would capture Aso Rock and Lagos Government House in 2027 as “political suicide,” insisting that Nigerians vote for performance, not promises.
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned former Osun governor Rauf Aregbesola’s assertion that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would take over Aso Rock and Lagos Government House in 2027.
APC spokesperson Hon. Seye Oladejo called the claim a “desperate bid for relevance” and warned that “betrayal is not a political strategy.” Oladejo accused ADC of miscalculating by projecting Aregbesola as its arrowhead, saying it would lead to failure. “Lagos and Nigeria are not conquered by soundbites.
Our people vote for performance, not fairy tales,” he said, highlighting APC’s record on roads, schools, hospitals, and reforms, and predicted the party would be rewarded in 2027 while Aregbesola and ADC face a “reality check.”
