President Tinubu will return to Abuja on September 16 after cutting short his France-UK vacation, marking his 15th foreign trip of 2025.
President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, to resume official duties after ending his vacation earlier than scheduled.
His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the development in a statement Monday, saying, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties.”
Tinubu departed Nigeria on September 4 for France, with plans to split his holiday between Paris and London. While in France, he met President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where both leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation.
This marks Tinubu’s seventh visit to Paris since assuming office in May 2023 and his 15th international trip this year, spanning 11 countries. His itinerary has included summits in Ethiopia, Japan, Brazil, and the Vatican, as well as state visits to Ghana, Tanzania, and Saint Lucia.
