Turning Point USA has appointed Erika Kirk as its new CEO and Chair after the death of co-founder Charlie Kirk.

Turning Point USA has appointed Erika Kirk as its new CEO and Chair of the Board following the fatal shooting of co-founder Charlie Kirk on September 10 at Utah Valley University.

The board said the decision was unanimous. “Charlie prepared all of us for a moment like this one. He worked tirelessly to ensure Turning Point USA was built to survive even the greatest tests. And now, it is our great pride to announce Erika Kirk as the new CEO and Chair of the Board,” the statement read.

Erika Kirk, who married Charlie in 2021, is a political science graduate and holds advanced degrees in law and Christian leadership. She is also the founder of the non-profit “Everyday Heroes Like You,” a real estate agent, and runs the faith-based fashion brand PROCLAIM Streetwear.

A public memorial service for Charlie Kirk will be held Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
