Former US President Donald Trump warned that Europe is in decline due to migration, urging leaders to close borders and deport migrants during remarks at the United Nations General Assembly.
“They’re being destroyed. Europe is in serious trouble. They’ve been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody’s ever seen before. Illegal aliens are pouring into Europe,” Trump said.
He compared the situation with his own border policies in the US, claiming, “Once we started detaining and deporting everyone who crossed the border… they simply stopped coming.”
Trump added, “You have to end it now – I can tell you. I’m really good at this stuff. Your countries are going to hell.”
While he claimed zero illegal entries under his policies, official US Customs and Border Protection data show apprehensions dropped sharply but were not zero.
