Barron Trump shut down a Trump Tower floor for a date, citing security concerns, highlighting his unusual college and public life.

Barron Trump, the 19-year-old son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, reportedly closed an entire floor of Trump Tower in Manhattan for a private date night. According to Page Six, the move was due to security concerns, with a source noting the location was chosen “strictly due to security reasons.” Neither the White House nor Trump Tower responded to requests for comment.

Currently a sophomore at New York University’s Washington, D.C. campus, Barron resides at the White House. The NYU program enrolls 60 to 100 students per semester and costs $32,000. Last year, People magazine quoted a source describing him as “a ladies’ man” who draws attention on campus. Forbes has reported his net worth at $150 million, largely from cryptocurrency investments.

His mother, Melania Trump, previously remarked, “I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student.” Barron has resorted to chatting with friends on Xbox to avoid his phone number being leaked.
