Delta billionaire Chief Jite Tesigimoje has defended his decision to marry 19 wives, saying polygamy reflects human nature, promotes unity, and keeps passion alive.
Delta billionaire and CEO of GIM Brown Marine, Chief Jite Odeworitse Tesigimoje, has defended his decision to marry 19 wives, insisting that “one woman alone cannot sustain a man’s passion.”
The Ugborodo-born businessman said in an interview that polygamy prevents deceit and fading intimacy common in monogamous marriages. “Every man wants to marry two or three wives if he has the capacity,” he said. Tesigimoje, who hinted he may take a 20th wife, added that fairness and honesty sustain peace in his home.
“At my last wedding, all my wives came dressed in the same attire. They danced, laughed, and welcomed the new bride,” he noted. The 43-year-old businessman claimed sex is his “best exercise” and credited herbs and roots for stamina. Beyond family life, Tesigimoje said he supports hundreds of widows and persons with disabilities through his GIM Brown Foundation, emphasizing that his philanthropy defines him as much as his marriages.
