The All Progressives Congress (APC) has defended President Bola Tinubu, saying he remains dedicated to improving Nigerians’ welfare and security despite criticism from former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s recent criticism of President Bola Tinubu, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to Nigerians’ welfare and security.
In a statement issued on Saturday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said Atiku’s comments were “baseless political attacks aimed at distracting a focused government.”
Morka insisted that Tinubu’s administration has recorded significant progress in stabilizing the economy and enhancing national security.
“The President remains unwavering in his commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians through bold reforms and strategic investments,” he said.
He urged Atiku to “offer constructive criticism rather than spreading misinformation that could incite public discontent.”
The APC maintained that ongoing initiatives in agriculture, infrastructure, and social welfare “reflect Tinubu’s genuine concern for the people’s wellbeing.”
Morka added that “the administration’s focus on transparency and accountability will continue to deliver tangible benefits to all Nigerians.”
