NELFUND has named 203 tertiary institutions that failed to upload their students’ data for the 2024/2025 loan application, warning that affected students risk missing out.
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has published a list of 203 tertiary institutions that failed to upload students’ data for the 2024/2025 student loan application. It also reopened its portal for 48 hours to allow compliance.
The Guardian reports that the Student Loan Application System (SLAS) enables students to apply once their institutions upload verified data.
A statement by the Fund’s Director of Strategic Communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, said the portal will be open from 12:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 12, to 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
“Institutions are strongly advised to make full use of this final opportunity,” the statement reads.
