A new medical report from the White House claims Donald Trump “remains in exceptional health,” but online users have raised doubts after noticing visible signs of swelling and discoloration.
The White House has released Donald Trump’s latest medical report, stating the 79-year-old president “remains in exceptional health,” according to his physician, Capt. Sean Barbabella. He said Trump’s “cardiac age” is about 14 years younger than his real age and that the check-up was part of routine monitoring.
Despite the positive assessment, health experts and social media users questioned the report, citing Trump’s swollen ankles, a dark mark on his right hand, and occasional unsteady movements. In April, the White House disclosed he had chronic venous insufficiency, likely responsible for the swelling.
Barbabella’s latest statement echoed his earlier claim that Trump is in “excellent cognitive and physical health.” However, many online users doubted the results, with one asking why a follow-up test was needed only six months later. The White House offered no explanation for the new evaluation.
