Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard will be sidelined until after the November international break due to a knee injury sustained in the win over West Ham.

Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard is set to remain out of action until mid-November after suffering a medial collateral ligament injury against West Ham on October 4. The 26-year-old was forced off in the first half, with the club confirming he would miss the current international window.

Ødegaard’s absence means he will sit out Premier League fixtures against Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland, as well as Champions League ties with Atletico Madrid and Slavia Prague.

His injury troubles have disrupted the start of his season, having been substituted early in three straight league matches. Arsenal face Tottenham on November 23, and Mikel Arteta will be hopeful his captain recovers in time for the north London derby.
