Yahaya Bello declared President Tinubu as God’s chosen “angel” to reform Nigeria, urging citizens to support his gradual policies.
Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the “angel” sent by God to fix Nigeria. Speaking during an endorsement rally for Tinubu and Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, broadcast on TVC, Bello urged Nigerians to stop waiting for miracles.
“We will not wait for God to send an angel with wings… The angel is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he declared, listing policy changes such as fuel subsidy removal, student loans and exchange rate reforms as proof of progress.
Bello admitted that years of systemic decay made immediate transformation impossible but insisted Tinubu was steadily fixing the country. “No government can fix everything all at once… Mr President is fixing it, and he will fix it,” he said.
He emphasized legacy over politics, adding, “Leadership without legacy is zero.”
