Prince William reportedly intends to enforce a permanent ban on Prince Andrew from all royal duties and events when he becomes king.

Prince William plans to take a firmer stance against Prince Andrew’s return to public life when he becomes king, according to a report by The Sunday Times. While King Charles and the Prince of Wales jointly approved Andrew’s recent decision to relinquish his royal titles and honours, William is said to believe that further action is necessary.

Under his future reign, the Prince of Wales reportedly intends to bar his uncle from all royal duties, state events and even private family ceremonies. The ban will also extend to Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has faced her own controversy due to past links with Jeffrey Epstein.

However, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will remain involved in royal engagements. Andrew’s royal downfall began over his association with Epstein, culminating in his removal from military roles by Queen Elizabeth in 2022 and the settlement of a U.S. civil sexual assault case. Both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace have declined to comment on the report.
