Former WWE wrestler Bobby “Sir Mo” Horne has died at 58 following years of health challenges and a recent battle with septic shock and pneumonia.
Former WWE wrestler Bobby Horne, known to wrestling fans as Sir Mo, has died at the age of 58.
Horne, who had openly discussed his health challenges in recent years, underwent major intestinal surgery last summer, revealing that his “colon hasn’t worked in three years.” Earlier this month, a fundraiser was launched to assist with medical expenses after he was diagnosed with septic shock and pneumonia.
Book Pro Wrestlers confirmed his death late Sunday, stating, “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Bobby Horne… has passed away.”
Best known as one half of Men on a Mission alongside Mabel, Horne competed in WWE during the mid-1990s before retiring from full-time wrestling in the early 2000s.
Tributes flooded social media Monday. “Rest in Peace Sir Mo!” wrote Mark Henry, while Adam Pearce added, “Godspeed, Mo… My heart goes out to his family.”
