“For the second phase, we plan to enlarge the innovation hub and install tech hubs where qualification courses will be held for young Nigerians.”

The initiative, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, seeks to position chambers as drivers of vocational training and entrepreneurship.

Head of Competence Centre Africa for the Giessen-Friedberg Chamber of Commerce, Dr Kristen Albrecht, announced the approval during a meeting with NACCIMA executives in Abuja on Friday.

She said the first phase strengthened NACCIMA, LCCI, and the Ogun Chamber to better serve their members, noting the establishment of an innovation hub and business centre in Lagos.

“For the second phase, we plan to enlarge the innovation hub and install tech hubs where qualification courses will be held for young Nigerians,” Albrecht said.

NACCIMA President Engr Jani Ibrahim described the partnership as a platform to train young Nigerians and make them globally marketable through vocational skills.
