“I mentioned at various times that the individual is ignorantly arrogant.”

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, on Monday said activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore remains wanted, urging him to report to the nearest police station.

During a meeting with human rights activist Dr. Segun Awosanya, known as Segalink, and others, the commissioner stressed that the command would not tolerate lawlessness in Lagos State. CP Jimoh said, “The Third Mainland Bridge is an infrastructure that is built for the taxpayers’ money. A threat to the Third Mainland Bridge is a threat to the economy of Nigeria and a threat to all.”

He reiterated that Sowore’s wanted status is active despite public engagements on social media, dismissing them as “social media theatrics.” CP Jimoh added, “I mentioned at various times that the individual is ignorantly arrogant… I’m doing the work of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Awosanya praised the police for preventing a breakdown of law and order through “nuisance activism” and acknowledged CP Jimoh’s efforts to protect public infrastructure and investments.
