Regina Daniels, estranged wife of Senator Ned Nwoko, has publicly accused him of marital rape, forced drug use, land grabbing, and a murder plot, while activist Omoyele Sowore called for the senator’s immediate arrest over broader alleged human rights violations.

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, estranged wife of APC senator Ned Nwoko, has leveled serious allegations against the lawmaker, accusing him of marital rape, forced drug use, land grabbing, and plotting her murder, according to a report from SAHARAREPORTERS. Daniels, in a series of emotional Instagram posts, claimed her marriage began when she was “17” and alleged that Nwoko introduced her to ecstasy and relied heavily on Viagra, causing repeated medical emergencies.

She wrote, “leave me alone ?? Why are you trying so hard to ruin me Publicly and privately… You trapped my life since 17 so this is me fighting for my freedom.” Daniels also accused the senator of using fake evidence to seize custody of their children, adding, “Coming with a fake drug report just because you want to take custody of my kids is insane and demeaning of your personality.”

The posts drew responses from human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, who demanded Nwoko’s suspension, arrest, and prosecution. According to a report from SaharaReporters, Sowore alleged that the senator engaged in cross-border sex trafficking, unlawful detention, and misuse of state security for personal vendettas. He said, “The outcry surrounding Senator Ned Nwoko goes far beyond the unlawful detention of his now-estranged wife, Regina Daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, ‘Sammy West’.”

Sowore emphasized public accountability, stating, “Anybody who is a public figure, who is in political office, our duty, first and foremost, is to hold them to account, no matter how powerful they are.”
