US President Donald Trump has expressed anger over alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria, threatening to stop aid and consider military action.

According to a report from DAILY POST, United States President Donald Trump has voiced strong anger over the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria, warning that his administration may take tougher measures if the Nigerian government fails to act.

The report said Trump made the comments on a conservative radio program on Friday, as captured by Fox News. He alleged that thousands of Christians are being killed in Nigeria and accused the government of failing to protect them from violence perpetrated by Islamic extremists.

Daily Post Nigeria recalled that Trump had earlier designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” over the killings. He also previously threatened military action in Nigeria to halt the attacks, describing the country as “a disgrace”.

During the radio program, Trump hinted that his next move may involve cutting off aid to Nigeria. He stated that the United States provides significant subsidies to the country and suggested that such support could be withdrawn if the situation does not improve.

Trump repeated his earlier warning of possible military action against Islamist militants in Nigeria, insisting that the Nigerian government must “do more” to stop attacks on Christian communities.

“Nigeria is a disgrace. The whole thing is a disgrace. They’re killing people by the thousands. It’s a genocide, and I’m really angry about it… We’re going to end up stopping,” he said.
