Lere Olayinka, media aide to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, has slammed former presidential candidate Reuben Abati as a “moral police” for criticizing Wike’s blunt remarks. Olayinka revealed that Abati was the 2019 PDP deputy governorship candidate in Ogun State alongside late Buruji Kashamu—a drug trafficker wanted by the U.S. He questioned Abati’s credibility after the journalist labeled Wike “rude” on national TV.

“Abati posed with a U.S.-wanted drug lord but now lectures on morality,” Olayinka said on Arise TV. “He once begged Wike for help yet calls him a bully.”
