Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has commended President Bola Tinubu and National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu for dismantling terrorist sleeper cells in the state.
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Saturday, Adeleke described the recent arrest of Ansaru terrorist leaders as “a major advancement in the fight against terrorism.” He praised the proactive strategy of the federal government, saying the arrests had “strengthened state security and enhanced the state’s capacity to protect her citizens and maintain the nation’s territorial integrity.”
The governor lauded the reforms introduced under President Tinubu through the Office of the NSA, noting the effectiveness of military formations, the National Intelligence Agency, Department of State Services, the Nigerian Police, and other security agencies.
