All passengers were safely evacuated after an Air Peace flight veered off the runway in Port Harcourt.
Nigerian carrier, Air Peace Flight P47190, has veered off the runway while landing at the Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo International Airport in Port Harcourt.
The airline, in a statement signed by Osifo-Whiskey Efe, Spokesperson, Air Peace Limited, confirmed that the flight, operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt, experienced a runway excursion after landing safely at the airport.
“The aircraft veered slightly off the runway without any damage. All passengers disembarked safely and calmly, and no injuries were reported,” the statement said.
“We reassure the flying public of our unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all our operations,” the statement added.
