Jane Edidiong Ufot, daughter of Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, has accused him of sacrificing her late mother, Patience Oluwakemi Umo Eno, who died in September 2024.
In a viral social media video, Ufot, who serves as a senior special adviser to the governor, claimed her life and that of her daughter were also at risk.
“I’m not a sacrifice, mummy was, but I’m not,” she declared.
She handed the phone to her daughter, who appeared to be speaking with the governor via video call and asked, “So, Grandpa, do you want them to kill us? Do you want them to die like my baby brother died?”
Governor Eno gave no audible response during the exchange. Ufot said she may soon reveal critical information.
“If I die today or my daughter dies… my blood will not go scot-free,” she warned.
Efforts to reach the governor’s media aide, Ekerete Udoh, were unsuccessful as his phone was switched off.
