In a historic move, the Nigerian Army has appointed Lieutenant Colonel Onyema Anele as its first female spokesperson, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s history.
Lt. Col. Anele, a seasoned officer with a distinguished career in military communications, assumes the role of Director of Army Public Relations. Her appointment reflects the Army’s commitment to gender inclusivity and the recognition of women’s contributions to national security.
