The Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress has described Dele Momodu as a “serial political tourist” who has appointed himself “strategic adviser to a confused opposition.”
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has mocked former presidential candidate, Dele Momodu, calling him a “strategic adviser to a confused opposition.”
In a statement on Friday, APC spokesperson Mogaji Seye Oladejo said Momodu’s suggestion that the opposition should play ethnic politics shows how politically lost they have become.
“The party notes with characteristic amusement the latest outburst from serial political tourist, Mr. Dele Momodu, who has suddenly anointed himself as a strategic adviser to a confused opposition,” Oladejo said.
He added that Momodu “should be the last person to speak on winning strategies,” describing his political record as “a manual on how not to win in politics.”
Oladejo argued that ethnicity and religion no longer determine elections, saying Nigerians now prioritise performance.
He urged Momodu to “rediscover his political direction before advising others,” adding that Tinubu’s 2027 victory was already “a settled matter.”
