The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all three Kaduna by-elections, defeating PDP and SDP candidates.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has secured victory in all three by-elections held in Kaduna State on Saturday.
In Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Felix Bagudu of the APC polled 34,580 votes to defeat PDP’s Esther Ashivelli Dawaki, who scored 11,491 votes, according to INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Abubakar Mohammed Jumare.
In Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, Prof. Balarabe Abdullahi declared Haruna Ihamo of the APC winner with 26,613 votes, ahead of SDP’s Nuhu Sada Abdullahi (5,721) and PDP’s Mamuda Abdullahi Wappa (5,331).
Similarly, Prof. Nasiru Rabiu confirmed APC’s victory in Basawa, where it scored 10,926 votes against PDP’s 5,499.
