Aregbesola: APC, PDP have failed, ADC is Nigeria’s future

Rauf Aregbesola has launched the ADC as a third-force alternative, accusing the APC and PDP of ruining Nigeria and pledging youth and women leadership ahead of 2027.

Former Osun State Governor and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rauf Aregbesola, has unveiled a new political vision for Nigeria, urging citizens to reject both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a statement on X, Aregbesola accused the APC of “feasting” while Nigerians suffer. “APC is demonstrating the Samson Complex by trying to pull down the nation on its head as its last act of political savagery,” he declared.

Speaking at a coalition meeting in Lagos, he welcomed defectors from APC, PDP, and Labour Party, stressing that the ADC’s constitution reserves 50% of positions for youth and women. “I am happy that some of us have emerged from the ashes of the ruins of APC and PDP to chart a new and different course for the nation,” he said.

Expelled from the APC in January for alleged anti-party activities, Aregbesola now champions the ADC as a credible alternative.
