Arsenal set-piece coach Nicolas Jover has been working with Saudi Arabia’s national team during international breaks and is expected to continue his involvement in October.

According to KSA Sport, Jover joined the squad’s training camp in the Czech Republic during the September window. The French coach is also set to assist in Saudi Arabia’s decisive fixtures against Indonesia and Iraq next month as they push for World Cup qualification.

Saudi Arabia finished third in Group C of the third round of AFC qualifiers, missing out on automatic qualification behind Japan and Australia. The team now faces a three-team mini group in the fourth round. A first-place finish would secure a World Cup spot, while second place would lead to a November play-off. Third place would end their hopes.

Saudi officials are keen to maximize their chances. Jover, who has transformed Arsenal into a Premier League set-piece force, is seen as a crucial asset.
