“No, brother, you’re not an American. You’re a South African… you should be deported,” Bannon fumed.
Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon tore into Elon Musk on Friday over the billionaire’s proposal to launch an “America Party” to challenge the two-party system.
Musk posted on X: “Independence Day is the perfect time to ask if you want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system! Should we create the America Party?”
Bannon, on his podcast, slammed Musk as a “foreign buffoon,” mocking him as “Elmo the Mook” and questioning his loyalty to the U.S.
“No, brother, you’re not an American. You’re a South African… you should be deported,” Bannon fumed.
Musk, who became a U.S. citizen in 2002, has recently split with Trump despite spending over $250 million to help reelect him.
Bannon has repeatedly called for investigations into Musk, criticizing his government contracts and alleged drug use.
Musk’s third-party idea aims to secure swing votes in Congress by targeting a few key Senate and House races.
