Governor Hyacinth Alia has condoled Senator Abba Moro over the deaths of his son and grandson, describing the incident as a devastating double tragedy.
Governor Hyacinth Alia has expressed deep sympathy to the Senate Minority Leader and senator representing Benue South, Abba Moro, following the deaths of his son, Victor Moro, and grandson, Abba Moro Jr.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in Makurdi by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, Mr Alia described the incident as a painful and devastating loss. “Anyone who believes in humanity will be touched by the double tragedy,” he said.
The governor urged the bereaved senator, his family, and the people of Benue South to take solace in God, noting that life and death are within His will.
Victor, who had recently completed his studies in Turkey, reportedly died in a fatal auto crash along the Mararaba axis in Nasarawa State, barely 24 hours after the burial of his father’s grandson.
