Former PDP Deputy National Chairman, Chief Bode George, has called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, to leave the party over alleged anti-party activities.

In a Wednesday statement in Lagos, George accused the duo of “embarrassing” the PDP with open affiliation to the ruling APC.

He queried Atiku’s recent visit to ex-President Buhari and condemned PDP governors endorsing President Tinubu ahead of 2027.

“What exactly is going on? Anybody who is tired of PDP should leave… It is impossible,” George said.

He warned that PDP must act decisively: “The moment we remove the liabilities in our party, we will be in a formidable position.”

On the economy, George called on President Tinubu to compel bank MDs to each contribute N20bn annually to a special intervention fund.

“You can’t see a bank MD in the U.S., UK, or Germany in private jets every other day… The government must look into this,” he added.
