Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, has asked former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to leave the party over alleged anti-party activities.
Speaking in Lagos on Monday, George said their continued presence is harming the PDP, especially after the divisions witnessed during the 2023 general elections.
“They should leave the party immediately and allow peace to reign,” George said. “You cannot be working against the PDP and still claim to be a member.”
He accused both men of disloyalty, particularly Wike, who openly campaigned against the PDP presidential candidate. George added that the party must undergo internal cleansing to restore discipline and unity.
