Attorney General Pam Bondi fired DOJ paralegal Elizabeth Baxter after she allegedly insulted and cursed at National Guard troops in Washington.
Attorney General Pam Bondi has dismissed a Justice Department employee for what she described as “inappropriate conduct” toward National Guard troops deployed in Washington under President Trump’s crime crackdown.
“Today I took action to terminate a DOJ employee for inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members in DC,” Ms. Bondi announced Friday on X. “If you oppose our mission and disrespect law enforcement — you will NO LONGER work at DOJ.”
The employee, Elizabeth Baxter, a paralegal in the Environmental and Natural Resources Division, allegedly bragged to a security guard on Aug. 18 that she flipped off a soldier at Metro Center while shouting, “F—k the National Guard.” She later repeated her disdain to another guard, saying troops should “F—k off.”
Bondi previously fired Sean Dunn earlier this month after he allegedly threw a sandwich at a border agent. DOJ spokesman Gates McGavick reinforced the warning: “Very simple: if you don’t support law enforcement, @AGPamBondi’s DOJ might not be a good fit.”
