A 39-year-old British woman has died after falling 60 feet from a scenic lookout in Majorca, Spain. The incident occurred Monday at Mirador des Jonquet, a popular viewpoint in the Palma neighborhood of El Jonquet.
Emergency responders who arrived at the scene stabilized the woman before rushing her to Son Espases Hospital, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit. She later died that night, according to local reports.
Palma police have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious. “Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the tragedy,” said a source familiar with the probe.
Detectives have reportedly interviewed witnesses who saw the woman fall. It remains unclear whether she was a tourist or a local resident.
