Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are rallying record-breaking crowds in conservative strongholds as they tour the U.S. with a bold anti-oligarchy message.

Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have kicked off their ‘Fighting Oligarchy’ tour, drawing massive crowds in deeply conservative states like Utah and Idaho. Their aim: rally progressive momentum and challenge former President Donald Trump’s influence across the U.S.
In Salt Lake City, over 15,000 people packed the University of Utah arena, with overflow crowds in the thousands. “We are here in so-called conservative Utah… because we believe that in every state of this country, people are prepared to stand up and fight back,” Sanders told supporters.
Ocasio-Cortez emphasized the stakes, saying, “Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s disdain for the working class doesn’t just come from not being raised right. It’s a shorthand for the right wing’s entire political agenda.”
